Pre-match betting asks a player to guess how a game will go before a ball is bowled. Live betting on 1Win works the other way round: the market stays open while the match is being played, and the price of every outcome is recalculated after each delivery, rally or attack. The live tab on 1Win can list more than 1,000 events at peak hours, and cricket is the sport that fills most of it for Indian players.
What Live Betting on 1Win Is
A live bet is any bet placed after the event has started. On 1Win, matches that are in progress sit under the Live tab with a red marker, the current score, and a small clock or over count. Opening a match shows the full list of markets that are open at that moment. Some markets stay open for the whole game (match winner, total runs), while short-lived ones appear for a single over or a single point and then lock.
Odds are decimal by default, cricket margins sit at about 5-6%, and bet types match pre-match: single, express, system and chain. Most live markets accept stakes from about ₹10.
Live Cricket Betting on 1Win
Big cricket matches on 1Win carry more than 100 markets. Before the toss most of them are long-range bets. Once play starts the list reshapes itself around the current over, the batters at the crease and the bowler who has the ball. Markets suspend for a few seconds while each delivery is bowled and reopen with new prices once the result is known.
Ball-by-Ball Markets
| Market | What it means | When it opens |
|---|---|---|
| Next over runs | Over/under on runs scored in the coming over | Between overs, locks when the bowler starts the run-up |
| Session runs | Total runs in a block of overs, such as the powerplay or overs 7 to 15 | Before the block starts, then live until the block ends |
| Method of dismissal | How the next wicket falls: caught, bowled, LBW, run out, stumped | Whenever two batters are set, reopens after each wicket |
| Top batter | Which batter in a team scores most in the innings | Pre-match and live until the innings closes |
| Batter milestones | Will a named batter reach 30, 50 or 100 | Live while the batter is in, closes when he is out |
| Total sixes | Over/under on sixes in the innings or match | Pre-match and live, line moves after each six |
IPL In-Play
During the IPL the live section gets crowded. Every match carries the full market list, and the strategic timeouts are a natural moment when prices settle for a minute. Death-over markets (overs 16 to 20) move fastest, because one big over can flip the chase. Players who prefer calmer betting often pick session runs over ball-by-ball lines.
Test and ODI In-Play
Longer formats give more time to think. Tests carry session markets and a result market that swings when rain or a collapse arrives; ODIs split into powerplay, middle and death overs.
Other Sports in Play
Cricket is the headline, but 1Win prices more than 40 sports and many of them run live at all hours.
Kabaddi
Pro Kabaddi matches carry live totals, raid points and next point markets. Scores change in short bursts, so lines move quickly.
Football
ISL, I-League and the big European leagues offer next goal, corners, cards and live handicaps. Some matches have video.
Tennis
Point, game and set markets update between every serve. Late-night matches from Europe and America fill the slots after midnight.
Table tennis
Short matches play almost round the clock, so there is nearly always something live. Prices move after every point.
Basketball
Quarter totals, live spreads and player points. Selected NBA and European games are streamed.
How to Place a Live Bet
- Log in and open Live. The tab shows every match in progress, grouped by sport, with the score next to each.
- Pick the match. The market list loads with a scoreboard or match tracker at the top.
- Tap a price. The selection drops into the bet slip with the current odds.
- Enter the stake. Live markets start from about ₹10. The slip shows the possible return.
- Choose how to handle odds changes. Tick the accept odds changes option if a small shift should not block the bet.
- Confirm quickly. Live slips take a few seconds to accept. A green confirmation means the bet is placed and visible under My Bets.
Odds Changes and Rejected Bets
During play, the price can move between the tap and the confirm. If that happens and the accept odds changes setting is off, 1Win rejects the bet or shows the new price for approval. It is not a fault; it is how every in-play book protects itself from bets placed on stale prices.
Markets also suspend completely when something big is about to happen: a delivery being bowled, a penalty, a video review. A slip sent during a suspension will fail. The fix is simple: wait for the market to reopen.
Cash-Out and Partial Cash-Out
Most live markets on 1Win show a cash-out value next to the open bet. That number is what 1Win will pay right now to settle the bet early. It goes up when the bet is heading for a win and down when it is not. Partial cash-out lets a player take part of that value and leave the rest running, for example cashing out half of a match-winner bet at the halfway stage of a chase.
The button goes grey while a market is suspended, and the offer always includes a margin.
Live Streaming and Match Tracker
Every live match has a tracker: an animated pitch or court that shows the action with a short delay, plus a scorecard. Selected football, tennis, basketball and esports matches also come with live video for players with a funded account. Cricket video depends on rights for each event, so most cricket matches use the tracker and scorecard only.
Live Esports Betting
Esports run around the clock and fit the live format well. 1Win covers CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant and BGMI, with map winner, round handicap, first blood and kill totals. Many esports matches are streamed in the betting window, so the map can be followed alongside the odds.
Express Bonus on Live Accumulators
An express (accumulator) with five or more legs that wins gets a bonus of 7% to 15% on top of the winnings. It applies to live and pre-match legs, and the percentage grows with the number of selections. Each extra leg adds risk, and most five-leg slips lose. The full table is in the 1Win bonus guide.
Tips for Disciplined In-Play Betting
No system turns in-play betting into steady profit, and anyone selling one is selling a story. What does help is structure:
- Set a budget for the match before it starts and stop when it is gone.
- Avoid chasing a loss in the next over. The next over is a new event with the same margin built in.
- Keep stakes level instead of doubling after a loss.
- Take breaks between innings. Fast markets reward impulse, which is exactly the problem.
